Children who have a book rich environment have much higher success in school. The American Academy of Pediatrics says that the importance of reading to children begins at birth. Books for Little Ones is a new project designed to provide babies, toddlers, and their parents/caregivers with books and other resources to help them thrive. During the Covid-19 crisis, schools will be virtual during the Fall 2020 semester, leaving many students in the Annapolis Cluster without access to much needed academic, emotional and social support. By creating Outdoor Classroom Sites within Annapolis Communities, The Collaborative Supporting Youth will create a safe space that allows outdoor, socially distant activities and programming that support community needs.

ABC is a group of local non-profits and community organizations working to support middle school and high school students in the Annapolis cluster by providing backpacks, earbuds, and basic school supplies to approximately 2,500 students.
